The logo of Air India has turned black on social media for offering condolences to the families of the demised during the Kozhikode plane crash.
The Air India flight carrying 190 passengers had skidded while landing at Karipur Airport in Kozhikode on Friday evening.
The Kerala government has announced 1 million Indian rupee compensation to the families of those who died in the plane crash.
Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri had also announced 1 million Indian rupee compensation to families of those killed, 200 thousands Indian rupee for those seriously injured and 50,000 Indian rupee for those with minor injuries.
An inquiry has been ordered into the accident, the minister said.❐
