Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has described the situation in the city of Borodanka as “much more dire” than in Butcher. He made the remarks in a speech to the nation on Facebook late Thursday night.
Bolendanka is about 25 kilometers (15 miles) from Bucha, Zelensky said. Russian forces have killed scores of civilians in the city. The President strongly condemned the incident.
He said Russian troops had left Borodanka. When the work of clearing the rubble started there, many horrible pictures were seen.

Russian fighters have left the outskirts of the capital, Kiev, and Chernehiv. Moscow says it will now focus on eastern Ukraine. Russia has already stepped up military operations in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine.
