Special Correspondent, Dhaka: Shah J. Choudhury, the founder and president of the Shah Group, planned a food handout for Iftar for 100 disadvantaged schoolchildren.
Shah J. Choudhury was born on 犀利士
April 22nd. On this day, he prefers not to make any extravagant plans. As a result, every year he attempts to share the joy of his birthday with needy children by organizing delicious food for them.
This year, food was distributed to the students of Lions Model School in Nayatola, Moghbazar.
Shah J. Choudhury told our New York correspondent that this year the event had to take place two days earlier because April falls inside the holy month of Ramadan, and April 22 is most likely to be the day of Eid ul-Fitr.
Shah J. Choudhury informed the representative of Ruposhi Bangla that rather than throwing a lavish birthday party, he wishes to spread happiness on this auspicious day to everyone. These underprivileged youngsters are the best possible channel for spreading that yearning.
The executive editor of New York’s Anuswar magazine and Ruposhi Bangla Online, Mubin Khan, was in charge of the event.
CARE Bangladesh’s Ehteshamul Haque Pintu and Wakil Ahmed, Lions Model School’s principal, Rakib Hossain Mintu, the school’s teachers, and USEP and CARE Bangladesh staff members all worked flawlessly together on the occasion.
Every year on his birthday, Shah J. Choudhury plans a similar activity for underprivileged kids.
