Hindustan Surkhiyan Desk:All lanes of the Mario Cuomo Bridge have been shut down due to multiple crashes.
State police said all of the accidents are in the northbound, or Rockland bound, lanes, but they’re temporarily using the southbound, or Westchester bound lanes, to get ambulances to the scene.
The right lane on the Westchester-bound side has since reopened, but traffic backups are significant.
There are six crashes in the Rockland bound lanes, with multiple cars involved in each wreck. At least 20 vehicles were involved, officials said.
Multiple injuries have been reported, including a woman who was thrown from her car and pinned against the guardrail.abc7ny
