Hindustan Surkhiyan Desk:The union of the ‘Ram’ and ‘Leela’ of Bollywood is one of the most awaited by their fans and while there have been many speculations surrounding their marriage, here’s an almost confirmed update on it!

As per a report filed by a leading daily, the wedding date of the love birds is almost finalized and it is happening in less than 6 months time given they are deciding between the month of September and December this year end for their marriage.

Source told Mumbai Mirror that “It will be an extremely private, traditional Hindu ceremony with the couple tying the knot in the presence of only close friends and family. The couple is still deciding if they want a reception to follow”.

There were many reports in the past weeks about the meeting of their parents Jagjit Singh and Anju Bhavnani, and Prakash and Ujjala Padukone in Mumbai but nothing was confirmed then, but now this report states that last week, Ranveer, Deepika and their families have short-listed four auspicious dates between September and December for a year-end wedding, after which prep has kicked into overdrive with the Bhavnanis and Padukones scouting for wedding venues in India and abroad before locking the final date. With younger sister Anisha and their mother, Deepika has already started her bridal trousseau shopping as well as finalising her jewellery.

The duo haven’t ever publically accepted that they are dating but we see their romantic exchanges at various events and reality shows and their chemistry melts hearts everytime.

The last time Ranveer was asked about their relationship he acknowledged that his “Bajirao Mastani”, “Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela” and “Padmaavat” co-star has helped him become a “well-rounded human being” and that he is “blessed to have her in my life”.

He dodged the question clearly during a news channel event but said – “It is a relationship of mutual admiration… I rate her very highly as an actor, and she doesn’t.”

He however did make a shocking revelation over how Deepika rates him as an actor. “She says, ‘You’re just a ham’,” he quipped, adding that she is “awesome” and that “there’s a lot to learn from her as an artiste”.

Deepika on the other hand happened to do something that almost confirmed they are dating when she had deleted a comment she had posted on rumored beau Ranveer’s Instagram post.[Ahem! Deepika Padukone just claimed her ownership on Ranveer Singh in a comment she DELETED soon after! CHECK OUT!]

Well, now with the recent update about their marriage, we can certainly hope for ‘DeepVeer'(term coined by their fans) to be more open about their affair? Or can’t we?
