In the fierce battle between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Anna Hakobayan, wife of Armenia Prime Minister Nicole Pashinyan, has also landed to save Nagorno-Karabakh.
Anna, the first woman from Armenia, has started military training since October 27 and is a member of the women’s squad of 13 men who will join the defense of Karabakh. Pictures of Anna Hakobayan who shot a rifle have gone viral on social media.
So far 5000 people have died in the Battle of Nagorno-Karabakh and humanitarian ceasefire is currently going on between the two countries.
The wife of Armenia’s Prime Minister Anna (42 years) wrote on Facebook, ‘A squad of 13 women soldiers is going to take military training with me. Next few days, we will leave to help protect the border. Neither our country nor our dignity will surrender to the enemy.
‘ Anna is a journalist by profession and is a newspaper editor. This is Anna’s second war training since August. Earlier, 7 women from Anna and Karabakh were given seven days of physical and weapons training.❐
