Hindustan Surkhiyan Desk: The much-awaited ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ starring Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh has finally hit the silver screens on Thursday (November 8). The film was highly anticipated by movie buffs as it features two of biggest superstars in Hindi cinema. The Vijay Krishna Acharya directorial has released in 5000 screens in India and the flick is expected to set the box office on fire. Despite the hype, TOH hasn’t managed to impress Twitterati and the film has received mixed response from the fans who were left a tad disappointed.

‘Thugs of Hindostan’ boasted of an impressive star cast and larger than life VFX shots but social media users have said that something was missing. The plot of the film revolves around Khudabaksh aka Azaad (Amitabh Bachchan) who leads a group of thugs who aspire to free India (Hindostan in this context) from the rule of East India Company. The British sensing the threat send Firangi Mallah (Aamir Khan) to counter and neutralize the revolutionaries.
