Washington: US President Donald Trump on Friday banged the drums of his own candidature for the fast-approaching US presidential election this year and attacked Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden saying China would ‘love’ to see him emerge victorious in the electoral battle.
While speaking to media, Donald Trump said that China would ‘love’ to have an election where he lost to ‘sleepy’ Joe Biden. ‘They would dream that they would own our country. If Joe Biden was president, China would rule our country,’ he said.
Shifting focus to Iran, the US President stressed that even Iran would “love” to see him lose the election in November this year. He continued saying that if he wins the election again, he would make deals with Iran ‘very quickly.’
‘If and when we win, we will make deals with Iran very quickly. We will make deals with North Korea very quickly,’ said Trump sounding the poll bugle.
He even went on to claim that if he hadn’t won the 2016 US presidential election, the United States would have been at war with North Korea.❐
