BENGALURU: Police have arrested a man who brutally assaulted a woman lawyer. The incident took place in the Bagalkote district of Karnataka yesterday. Sangeetha, a lawyer, was beaten up by her neighbour, Mahantesh. The police took action after a video of Mahantesh assaulting Sangeetha went viral on social media.
The police said that this was not the first time that a fight took place between the two. They were involved in disputes and brawls several times before. he cause of the dispute is a civil case between the two.
The video, which has been circulating on social media, shows Mahantesh slapping Sangeetha in the face and kicking her in the stomach.
