Md Israfil Alam, Naogaon-6 (Atrai-Raninagar) constituency lawmaker and district Awami League joint secretary, has passed away on Monday.
He breathed his last at 8:40 am while undergoing treatment at Square Hospital in the capital.
He was suffering from various problems due to old age, including lung, complications. He was 55.
Israfil Alam’s eldest daughter Israt Jahan confirmed this information. ❑
