Hindustan Surkhiyan Desk: Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh who got hitched on November 14 and 15 in Lake Como, are busy hosting grand bashes for their family members and close friends. After throwing a lavish wedding reception in Bangalore on November 21, DeepVeer will host another party for Bollywood celebs on December 1 at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. Personal invites have gone out to the tinsel town star and we expect the who’s-who of B-town to attend the party. Katrina Kaif, who was recently seen in ‘Thugs of Hindostan’, will also be present at the bash.
A report in an entertainment portal suggested that Kat, who is currently busy shooting for Salman Khan’s ‘Bharat’, received an invitation for DeepVeer’s Mumbai wedding reception and she will attend it.
“Katrina received the invitation four days ago and is gearing up to attend the event. She has discussed this with Salman Khan and if all goes well, she will walk in to the party with the superstar and Ali Abbas Zafar. She is looking forward to going for the bash,” a source told SpotboyE.
The ‘Zero’ actress received a personal message from Ranveer, who will be next seen in ‘Simmba’.
“Ranveer and Deepika have been sending personal messages to their close friends in the industry. While the actress did not send a text to Katrina, Ranveer ensured that he did,” the source further told the portal.

For the uninitiated, Deepika and Katrina both once dated Ranbir Kapoor and the two leading Bollywood actresses shared a cold vibe because of the same.
You may recall that Deepika Padukone had told Neha Dhupia on her chat show ‘BFFs with Vogue’ that she wouldn’t invite Katrina to her wedding during the ‘Say It Or Strip It’ segment. We sincerely hope the two beautiful actress remain on cordial terms.
Katrina was one of the first few celebs to wish Deepika and Ranveer after they shared their wedding pictures on Twitter amd Instagram. The ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ actress wrote, ‘’Congratulations to both of you,’’ on DP’s Instagram post.

Before the star-studded Mumbai bash, Ranveer is said to throw a party for his family members and friends on November 28. The ‘Gully Boy’ actor’s sister Ritika Bhavnani threw a DJ party for him and Deepika on Saturday. The power-packed actor looked dapper in an eccentric outfit, while Deepika looked stunning in a Sabyasachi floral lehenga.
