Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has been admitted to the Leelavati hospital, Mumbai. According to reports, he was complaining about breathlessness and breathing issues.
According to reports doing the rounds online and on media publications, the actor has tested negative for the novel coronavis. The reports stated that the actor’s samples were taken for RT PCR. Dutt is currently being kept under observation in the non-covid ICU ward of the hospital.
In a statement to ANI, the hospital said, “Actor Sanjay Dutt was admitted to Lilavati hospital in Mumbai after he complained of breathlessness. His COVID-19 report is negative but he is still there for some time just for medical observation. He is perfectly fine.”

Sanjay Dutt took to Twitter late Saturday and wrote, “Just wanted to assure everyone that I’m doing well. I’m currently under medical observation & my COVID-19 report is negative. With the help & care of the doctors, nurses & staff at Lilavati hospital, I should be home in a day or two. Thank you for your well wishes & blessings 🙏”

The actor may well be discharged from the hospital tomorrow if the doctors reviewing his condition feel that he is stable.
Till then, it has been reported that the doctors ordered a few tests, for which they are awaiting the results.
Sanjay Dutt is currently in Mumbai alone. His wife and two kids are currently stuck abroad owing to the lockdown.❐
