Shah Foundation Distributes winter clothes to Intellectually disabled in Gaibandha.

zahan Ara Dolon: New York based organization Shah Foundation distributes winter clothes to intellectually disabled in Gaibandha.

Founder Shah J Chowdhury said, Shah Foundation has been established to serve the distressed. The organization is moving forward with the vow of serving the people. To maintain the vow, they are distributing winter clothes to orphans in Gaibandha.

On the first day of February, winter clothes were distributed to the mentally handicapped.

Earlier, 28 January 2021, in collaboration with Bangladesh Mahila Parishad Gaibandha branch, Shah Foundation donated sweaters to 100 orphans.

At the beginning of the event, in a video conference from the United States, the founder of Shah Foundation, Shah J Chowdhury congratulates the collaborators and expressed best wishes for the mentally handicapped and promised to be by their side.

Gaibandha District Parliament President Prof. Zahurul Qayyum, the organizer of Udichi, Gaibandha Social Service Officer Mizanur Rahman Mallick, Environment Branch District Convener and Politician Wajiur Rahman Raphael, Prabir Chakraborty, Executive Chief of the Voluntary Association, Mahila Parishad Central Committee Member and District Secretary, DBC District Representative Riktu Prasad handed over winter clothes to the handicapped on behalf of Shah Foundation.

The Gaibandha district branch of Bangladesh Students Union has provided overall cooperation in the entire event. The guests said in their speeches that, the moral responsibility of every human being is to stand by the helpless. Poor people are the part of the society. Therefore, the responsibility of the rich of the society is to stand by the devastated people. The Shah Foundation came forward to fulfill its duty by distributing winter clothes to these intellectually disabled. They thanked Shah Foundation for such great activities.

Shah J Chowdhury said to ‘RuposhiBangla’, winter clothes will be distributed among the disabled, tribal and dalit children in phases this winter.❐
