Police have apprehended seven individuals in connection with the traumatic rape case of a 17-year-old girl in Uttar Pradeshs Lalitpur. The survivors father is also suspected of assaulting her.
JHANSI (Jhansi): Police have so far apprehended seven individuals in connection with the traumatic rape case of a 17-year-old girl in Uttar Pradesh’s Lalitpur, including three more district presidents (SP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) along with a junior engineer.The survivor’s father is also suspected of assaulting her.On Friday, police announced that they had apprehended SP district president Tilak Yadav, BSP district president Deepak Ahirwar, and a junior engineer (JE), Mahendra Dubey.All three were absconding, and police teams were searching for them.
Police searched the hotel where they were staying and apprehended them.SP Lalitpur, Nikhil Pathak, reported that our SOG team had arrested the three main accused from Mirzapur, where they were hiding.So far, all seven suspects have been convicted, and our teams are constantly searching other hideouts to locate the remaining seven suspects.We are also searching their criminal histories.
