War has never truly brought lasting peace. History is full of examples where countless lives were lost, cities destroyed, and generations scarred—only for the cycle of violence to begin again. So when India edges closer to the rhetoric of war once more, we must ask: who truly benefits?

In my view, this is not about national security, but political strategy. Modi’s government has repeatedly used military tensions to stir nationalist emotions ahead of elections. This pattern is not new—it is a calculated move to win votes. But in doing so, it unsettles the lives of minorities and fosters fear and division.

Those who cheer for war often do so from a distance. They do not see the battlefield, nor do they suffer the consequences. For them, war is just a slogan, a rallying cry. But for those on the frontlines, and for the vulnerable communities caught in between, it is a nightmare.

Real patriotism lies not in the thirst for war, but in the courage to pursue peace. Dialogue, diplomacy, and mutual understanding—these are the tools of true nation-builders. A nation thrives not when it flexes its muscles, but when it upholds justice, harmony, and humanity.

Stay well and love.
