Hindustan Surkhiyan Desk: Sanjay Leela Bhansali delivered one of the biggest hits of the year in the form of ‘Padmaavat’. The epic drama starring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor set the cash registers jingling and raked in big moolah at the box office. The ‘Bajirao Mastani’ director is now all set to reunite with Salman Khan for an upcoming film and movie buffs are super excited for the same. As per the latest buzz, we might see ‘Zero’ actress Anushka Sharma play the female lead opposite the Bigg Boss 12 host in SLB’s next film.
A report in a leading daily suggested that Bhansali has finalized a script which demands Anushka to be a part of the film. The beautiful actress, who was last seen in ‘Sui Dhaaga’, is yet to sign the dotted lines but she has shown her interest in the film.
Interestingly, it was Salman who suggested Anushka’s name to Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the report in DNA said.
If the news comes out to be true, we will see Anushka and Salman on the silver screen after ‘Sultan’.

Salman had confirmed earlier this year that he will do a film with his ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ director. Speculations are rife that unlike his last two films (Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat), SLB’s next flick will be a family drama. The film is expected to go on floors by mid 2019, the report in the daily added.
On the professional front, Anushka is gearing up for the release of ‘Zero’, which co-stars Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. Salman, who is currently busy shooting for his much-awaited film ‘Bharat’.
