Hindustan Surkhiyan Desk: Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are hogging all the limelight ever since the two announced that they are getting married on November 14 and 15. As soon as the good news hit the internet, Bollywood celebs like Karan Johar, Sonam Kapoor, Tiger Shroff and Priyanka Chopra started showering the couple with warm wishes. As per the latest buzz, DeepVeer will have two wedding ceremonies. Yes, you read that right. The two ‘Padmaavat’ co-stars will get hitched in traditional south Indian and north Indian style.

A report in a leading daily suggested that the function will start with the sangeet on November 13. The sangeet ceremony will be followed by a Kannadiga style wedding on November 14, the report added.

“Since Deepika is a South Indian and Ranveer is of Sindhi-Punjabi origin, the two families decided to follow customs practised by both communities. A South Indian wedding has been planned for November 14, complete with Kannadiga rituals. The next day will see the couple solemnise their relationship as per the customs of a North Indian wedding (Anant Karaj),” a source close to Deepika told Mid-Day.

Deepika, who made her Bollywood debut with ‘Om Shanti Om’, is expected to invite Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan for her wedding. Speculations were also rife that Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Karan Johar will also get invited for DeepVeer’s wedding in Italy.

“Given her deep bond with Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan who had launched her in Bollywood, Deepika was certain that she wants them by her side on the auspicious day. The couple also considers Aditya Chopra and Sanjay Leela Bhansali their mentors. The celebrations will be followed by an intimate party on November 15,” the source further told the daily.

Deepika and Ranveer are expected to throw a lavish wedding reception at Grand Hyatt in Mumbai on December 1, as per the report.

Gossip mills are also buzzing with the rumours that the adorable couple might tie the knot in Mumbai instead of Lake Como. A report in the same daily said that DeepVeer’s family members were finding it difficult to travel to Italy and hence the couple decided to get hitched in Mumbai.
