Hindustan Surkhiyan Desk: Congress president Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi alleging him of irregularities of massive proportions in the Rafale deal case. Addressing the media in a press conference on Tuesday, the Congress president accused the Prime Minister of using his power and position for benefiting industrialist Anil Ambani to clinch the multi crore fighter jet deal. Rahul said that PM Modi acted as the middleman for Anil Ambani in negotiating the terms and conditions of the deal with the French government to eventually benefit .

Congress President blamed the PM of violating the official secrecy norms of the deal, fabricating the deal conditions to suit Anil Ambani’s business interests. This is now treason, Mr.Narendra Modi is doing what spies do, he is informing somebody of a defence matter. He is under oath to protect these secrets.

Rahul Gandhi: Now PM needs to answer how did Anil Ambani knew 10 days in advance of the #Rafaledeal. Defence Minister, HAL, Foreign Secy don't know but Anil Ambani knew.If this is true then PM is in violation of official secrets act, criminal action must be initiated on this basis https://t.co/5c5M7vA2jC

Rahul Gandhi dubs Comptroller and Auditor general report on the Rafale deal as the ‘Chokidaar General Report’

He severely condemned the report of the Comptroller and Auditor general on the Rafale deal and termed it as the Chokidaar General Report. AG report is a worthless report. I would term it as a ‘Chowkidar Auditor General Report’. It is Narendra Modi’s report, written for the Chowkidar, on behalf of the Chowkidar, for the Chowkidar by the Chowkidar.

Anil Ambani met the French Defence Minister 10 days before the deal finalisation

Congress President lashed out at Anil Ambani saying that there is a email which has surfaced in the public domain clearly indicating that Anil Ambani was in touch with the French defence minister ten days before the deal was finalized. He said that an Airbus executive wrote that Mr.Anil Ambani met the French Defence Minister and told him 10 days before the Rafale deal was signed that he was going to get it. It clearly pointed out that there were parallel negotiations going on by the PMO, other than the one by the Ministry of Defence.
