Hindustan Surkhiyan Desk: Renowned cardiologist of India Dr Devi Shetty is coming to visit Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, who is undergoing treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University.
Dr Devi Shetty is flying from Bangaluru to Kolkata where Bangladesh’s Deputy High Commission to Kolkata and Visa Consular Mansur Ahmed is waiting for him to issue his visa from there, our Kolkata correspondent reports.
After the issuance of visa, Devi Shetty will fly to Dhaka on a chartered plane, Mansur Ahmed said.
Obaidul Quader was hospitalised yesterday morning following breathing problems post-Fazr hours. He was diagnosed with three blocks in his heart.
While undergoing treatment at the hospital, Quader suffered another heart attack.
According to doctors, Quader was suffering from uncontrolled diabetes and blood pressure. Also, the road transport minister has electrolyte imbalance.
