Hindustan Surkhiyan Desk: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will keep no stone unturned as they take on Mumbai Indians (MI) with a prayer on their lips in a must-win Indian Premier League game on Sunday.
MI would like to carry on the winning momentum as 18 points and a better net run-rate than both first placed Chennai Super Kings and third-placed Delhi Capitals will give them two shots at qualifying for the final.
Coming to the Toss, Mumbai Indians won the toss and opted to bowl first against the visitors at trot. MI made two changes – Mitch McClenaghan for Lewis and Ishan Kishan for Sran.
“Today we wanted to see a total on the board and then see how we go from there. It is important but at the moment we don’t want to think about it. We are more focused on playing good cricket.”, said Rohit.
KKR skipper Dinesh Karthik made one change in the squad. Prasidh replaces Piyush in the playing XI.
“Everybody is as calm as we can get. It is important game for both teams and they will come firing. They have done a good job so far in the tournament. Obviously both are quality players, so we expect them to deliver.”, said Karthik.
