Besides, she has tarnished the image and reputation of the university (DU) as she is under remand in police custody, in a case lodged by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in connection to supplying fake N-95 masks. In this situation, Assistant Registrar of Dhaka University Moshammat Sharmin Jahan has been suspended from her job at the university on Sunday.
Earlier, the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court put Sharmin Jahan in a three-day remand for questioning in the case filed by the BSMMU authorities in connection to supply the fake N-95 mask.
