The court has granted seven-day remand for seven accused each including Teknaf police station OC Pradeep Das in connection with retired Major Sinha killing fired by police.
The Cox’s Bazar court granted the remand plea of RAB in the murder case on Thursday night.
Earlier, RAB sought 10-day remand for seven accused each before the Cox’s Bazar court at around 8 pm on Thursday.
On Thursday afternoon former OC Pradeep was taken to Cox’s Bazar from Teknaf amid strict security.
Baharchhara police post in-charge Liakat and others were produced before the court from district police lines. They were produced before the court at around 5:30 pm.❐
