Hindustan Surkhiyan Desk:Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be honored with the Global Women’s Leadership Award for her outstanding leadership in advancing women education and women entrepreneurs in Bangladesh, Asia and Asia-pacific region.
The award, a lifetime honor, will be given to PM Sheikh Hasina by US-based NGO Global Summit of Women, Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali said at a press conference today.
The premier will receive the award in Sydney where she is going to attend the summit from April 26 to April 28 at the invitation of the country’s Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, said the foreign minister.
The Global Summit of Women also extended an invitation to PM Sheikh Hasina to attend the conference.
Sheikh Hasina will also hold a bilateral meeting with the Australian prime minister where they will discuss, human resources development, trade and investment, power and energy, agriculture, security, education and sports among others.
“This will add a new dimension to the relations between the two countries,” the foreign minister said.
