Hindustan Surkhiyan Desk: Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad is not physically ill, but despite such he has been hospitalised because of what his party colleague says “loneliness”.
“He is 100 percent well. He has been hospitaled this morning because he is lonely,” Mashiur Rahman Ranga, newly-made party secretary general, said.
Speaking at a press briefing in Banani, Ranga said in hospital he fights loneliness “in the company of the doctors and nurses” at the hospital.
Ranga added, Ershad may fly for Singapore after December 10.
Former military ruler Ershad was hospitalised at Combined Military Hospital today just three days after he was released from there.
About the final list of alliance nominees, Ranga said: “It will be finalised by December 9”.
Replying to a query from reporters, he said, former general secretary Ruhul Amin Hawlader resigned, mentioning that he is ill and he wants to be relieved from his position.
Yesterday, the JP in a sudden move removed Hawlader from the secretary general’s post and replaced him with Ranga.
