Hindustan Surkhiyan Desk: BNP candidate for Gazipur-5 constituency Fazlul Haque Milon was arrested by detectives from his residence in Kaliganj upazila of the district this afternoon.
A team of Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested him from his residence around 2:30pm, Shamsun Nahar, superintendent of police in Gazipur, told The Daily Star.
Milon is accused in at least 17 cases lodged with different police stations under Dhaka Metropolitan and he is wanted in seven of the cases, the police official said.
