There has been a storm of condemnation and protest after the release of an irresponsible and unreliable report in the name of the so-called one-sided investigation report titled ‘All the Prime Minister’s Man’ on Al Jazeera television. However, there is no need to make a big fuss about the report that contradicts the reality. Because, the whole world is watching, observing where Bangladesh has reached today. Under the leadership of Bangabandhu Kanya, the country is moving forward on the path of unprecedented progress and development. Because, even when the whole of Bangladesh stood on one foot under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina to demand the trial of war criminals, that television made a new story and made various bizarre dramas to protect the war criminals including the infamous anti-independence Abdul Quader Mollah. The main strategy was to confuse the people of Bangladesh.
ISPR has protested the news item titled ‘All the Prime Minister Man’ aired on the international television channel Al-Jazeera. The protest letter sent by Rashedul Alam Khan on behalf of the assistant director said that the report aired on Al Jazeera television, a Qatar-based news outlet on February 2, 2021, was sorted and far-sighted. The Army Department has strongly condemned the report, which was circulated with imaginary and malicious intent. This report, which is based on false and misleading information, is just a misguided attempt by some vested interests to destabilize the country in recent times. David Bergman, a convict convicted by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, Zulkarnaen Sayer Khan (pseudonym Sami), a cadet expelled from the Bangladesh Military Academy for drug addiction, and Tasneem Khalil, editor-in-chief of the infamous Netra News. All these selfish individuals with dishonest and corrupt character are already engaged in anti-Bangladesh activities by establishing links among themselves. It is not undesirable and incomprehensible for these individuals to deviate from mainstream journalism and engage in evil thinking with an international news outlet like Al-Jazeera. This report has been prepared by cleverly editing and attaching audio clips and photographs of various bureaucratic, social and personal activities of high ranking military officers of the country. According to the report, the Bangladesh Army is protesting against the purchase of internet and mobile monitoring equipment from Israel. In fact, signal equipment purchased from a Hungarian company for use in UN peacekeeping missions has been termed as purpose-driven mobile monitoring technology imported from Israel. There is no mention in any of the equipment purchased or related documents that they were made in Israel. It should be noted here that since Israel does not have diplomatic relations with Bangladesh, there is no room for purchasing defense equipment or receiving defense cooperation from that country. The Bangladesh Army considers this false and fabricated report as an attempt to obstruct the country’s prosperity and progress by creating divisions and distances between the various institutions of the state. Under the current chain of command, this disciplined force has always been loyal to the country’s constitution and government. The Bangladesh Army is committed to the development and service of the motherland with unwavering respect for the government of the country.

Especially in the last twelve years, unprecedented progress and development has taken place under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Although there is no political difference in the performance of the responsibilities of the country and the people, we are such an unfortunate nation that the only thing that can be thought of is how to make the opponents small. But it should be, everyone should rise above Dalmat and work for the welfare of the people. Development is possible only if every human being fulfills the responsibilities assigned to him in every place. There is no reason why we should not go to the desired place. Why not talk about ticks! Sheikh Hasina has made possible what was never possible in this country, what was impossible for the poor. Following the Prime Minister’s announcement, the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief has taken initiative to build semi-finished tinshed houses for the uprooted and destitute landless and homeless in the year of Mujib. It has been proved that the government of the country is always by the side of the extremely poor. This time it is an initiative to create a new history on the occasion of the birth centenary of the father of the nation. The Prime Minister inaugurated the world’s largest shelter project. The Prime Minister inaugurated the program by connecting to the main event through video conference from her official residence. During the program, land and houses were provided to 6,179 landless and homeless families and at the same time 3,815 families were rehabilitated in the barracks. Beneficiaries get emotional for such an extraordinary initiative. They especially thanked the Prime Minister. It is learned that through the implementation of this project, the dreams of 9 lakh helpless landless and homeless families will be fulfilled. Under this project, a significant number of homeless people living in Fulbari Upazila, who were once enclaves, have expressed their gratitude to the government for getting new houses. The enclave dwellers had many problems before, which is widely discussed.
By assassinating the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu in 1975, a group wanted to disrupt the economic development of independent Bangladesh. But after 21 years, Bangabandhu Kanya came to power in 1996 and took the helm of the country. He has worked day and night to improve the quality of life of the people. With the overwhelming support and votes of the people, the standard of living has improved a lot since the people put him in power in the 2008 general elections. What could be a bigger service than giving a house to a homeless person and building a semi-permanent house in a beggar’s house! In the true sense, Sheikh Hasina is the mother of humanity. Now BNP is teaching democracy. Teaching the right to vote. The senior leaders of the BNP are giving a ‘picture’ of democracy. How ridiculous these things are. Did the BNP imagine providing housing to the poor during the rule of the BNP government? The BNP that created anarchy across the country to destroy democracy is now desperate for ‘democracy’. It’s a joke with the nation, a farce. On the contrary, the people’s leader Sheikh Hasina showed that, we can, we can. That is why Sheikh Hasina is the place of people’s trust.❐
