In association with the Shah Group, the Bangladesh Writers Club’s meeting at the Bangla Academy
Bangladesh Writers Club organized a meeting at the Bangla Academy in collaboration with the Shah Group of New York.
The ‘Globalization of Bengal and Muktadhara New York’ conference will be held on Friday 25th February at 3pm in the ‘Seminar Room of the Poet Shamsur Rahman’ of the Bangla Academy.
Poet Kamal Chowdhury, Chief Coordinator of the National Committee for the Celebration of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s Birth Centenary, Nazrul Islam Khan, Curator of Bangabandhu Museum, Ramendu Majumder, playwright, and eminent economist Dr. Atiur Rahman and Director General of Bangla Academy Poet Muhammad Nurul Huda will participate at the meeting. The meeting will be attended by BTRC Chairman Shyamsunder Sikder, National Library Director Minar Mansur, Writer and Muktadhara Foundation Chairman Ferdous Sajedin, Poet and Writer Iqbal Hasan, President of Academic and Creative Publishers Association of Bangladesh Farid Ahmed and Bangladesh Pustak Prokashak & Bikreta Samiti President Md Arif Hossain Chhoton. Actor and director Mahfuz Ahmed and artist and journalist Navneeta Chowdhury will be present at the event.
Cultural Minister KM Khalid will be present as the chief guest. The event will be presided over by Selina Hossain, President of Bangla Academy. Biswajit Saha, founder of Muktadhara New York will be the invited guest.
