DHAKA: The first death anniversary of Jatiya Party founder HM Ershad is being observed on Tuesday (July 14).
Jatiya Party chalked out various programmes across the country, including the capital to observe the day with due respect.
In a press release, the party said all programs will be held maintaining social distancing and health guidelines amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Senior leaders of the party, led by its chairman GM Quader, will offer prayers at the grave of Ershad in Rangpur in the morning. A doa-mahfil and a discussion meeting will also be held there.
Jatiya Party chief patron Raushan Ershad will also arrange doa mahfil at her Gulshan office in Dhaka in the afternoon.❑
