Hindustan Surkhiyan Desk: BNP candidate for Dhaka-3 constituency Goyeshwar Chandra Roy and 30 others were injured in an attack by unidentified criminals during his campaign in Keraniganj area this evening.
Goyeshwar, also a standing committee member of BNP, sustained injuries in his head and now undergoing treatment at Kakrail Islami Bank Central Hospital, Aminul Islam, personal assistant of the BNP leader, told The Daily Star.

The other injured were also undergoing treatment at the same hospital, he said.
A group of miscreants carried out the attack around 6:00 pm when Goyeshwar and his party men were carrying out the campaign in Chunkutia area, leaving at least 25 BNP men including Goyeshwar injured.
