Hindustan Surkhiyan Desk: Alliance leaders have drafted the way forward for Jatiya Oikya Prokriya, the political platform forged ahead of the upcoming general election of Bangladesh.
Leaders of the alliance, formed with major opposition parties like BNP, have drafted the demands and goals of the Oikya Prokriya at a meeting today, top sources said.
The meeting was held at the residence of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) leader ASM Abdur Rab in Uttara from 3:00pm to 6:00pm, highly placed insiders told The Daily Star.
Now, the leaders will be sitting for another meeting with Dr Kamal Hossain, who is helming the Oikya Prokriya at the moment, at his residence tomorrow at 3:00pm.
Among those present in the meeting were Nagorik Oikko Convener Mahmudur Rahman Manna, Bikalpa Dhara Joint Secretary Mahi B Chowdhury, and BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, and his party colleagues Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain and Moudud Ahmed.
