Zahan Ara Dolon: Shah J Choudhury, founder and president of the New York-based organization Shah Group, took the initiative to distribute food to 100 poor and marginalized children.

Our New York correspondent informed us that April 22nd is Shah J Choudhury’s birthday. On this day, he did not make any formal arrangements but arranged a good meal for the poor and marginalized children.

Packet foods were handed over to one hundred poor children at an unpretentious event in Mirbagh, Dhaka.

Shah J Choudhury told the Ruposhi Bangla correspondent that he wanted to share the joy of this special day rather than celebrate it in a grand style. He wanted to spread love. There can be no better medium than children to spread love.

Mubin Khan, executive editor of Ruposhi Bangla Newspaper and Anuswar Magazine, was in charge of this event.

Care Bangladesh worker Ehteshamul Haque Pintu, Wakil Ahmed, Abdul Basset Russel, Mohammad Selim Reza, businessman Sheikh Manik, instrumentalist Ajit Kumar Sheel, businessman Tajul Islam, NGO worker Sumon, and Save the Children and Care Bangladesh workers were in overall support.

It is to be noted that every year, Shah J Choudhury organizes such events for the poor and marginalized children on his birthday.
