Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) on Saturday took three accused, who are witnesses in cases filed by police over the killing of Major (retd) Sinha Md Rashed Khan in police firing, in their custody to interrogate them in the case filed his sister.
A team of Rab-15, led by its Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police of Rab-15 Khairul Islam, also the investigation officer of the case, brought them out of Cox’s Bazar jail around 11:30am.
Later, they were taken to the Rab-15 office following health checkup at Sadar Hospital.
A Cox’s Bazar court on Tuesday placed the trio — Mohammad Ayas, M Nurul Amin and Mohammad Nazimuddin of Marishbunia under Baharchhara union of Teknaf — on four-day remand.
All of them are witnesses in cases filed by police over the killing of the former army official.
