Soldiers of the two companies of the Israel Defense Forces were recently exposed to a dispute while queuing in the cafeteria for a meal, which eventually developed into a gang fight. During the period, soldiers loaded guns. The scene was quite tense.

According to a report from RT News on October 12, in a training base of the Israel Defense Forces, two troops clashed and beat each other, resulting in 21 soldiers injured.

Reported that this incident occurred last Sunday involving the”Bedouin” 585th reconnaissance unit and the battle named”Shaked” Two battalions. The two companies trained at Har Keren base fought over who should go to the cafeteria to eat first. About 21 soldiers were injured in the incident described by the IDF as”unusual and serious.”

Local reports quoted an eyewitness as saying that the scene became very intense at one time, and one of the soldiers even began to load the gun in his hand. The brawl lasted for several minutes. About 30 people participated and 21 of them were injured. Most of the wounded soldiers were treated at the scene, but 8 people needed to be hospitalized.

In a statement, the Israel Defense Forces said that the fight was an”unusual incident” and”inconsistent with the values ​​of the Israel Defense Forces and the behavior requirements of soldiers.” According to the investigation by the military and police department, the soldiers had a dispute while queuing in the cafeteria. The matter quickly got out of control due to the”failure of the entire command system.”

The IDF said that the matter was not completely over-the two wounded soldiers fought again while receiving treatment in the hospital, but were soon separated.

It is reported that the training of the two companies was suspended after the incident. They will be required to participate in courses on the values ​​of the Israel Defense Forces and will spend the night together under the supervision of the base commander. To reconcile the conflicts between the soldiers of the two troops. The Israeli Ministry of Defense also stated that commanders who fail to quickly stop the conflict between soldiers will face severe punishment.❐
