Hindustan Surkhiyan Desk: Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda today claimed that the deployment of army will increase the confidence in voters.
The CEC made the comments after a mock-voting session using Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) at the Residential Model School and College field today.
“I use this opportunity to request all political parties to ensure the elections are held properly like the way elections should be held,” he said.
The CEC requested all political parties to shun violence and avoid misunderstanding and to simply dedicate their time for electioneering.
“I do belief that anything unwanted will be under control from now,” he added.
The army will discharge their duties to maintain law and order situation and they will can this under the law “aide to civil power, the CEC said.
