Hindustan Surkhiyan Desk:The “government’s agents” carried out attack at the residence of Dhaka University Vice Chancellor to divert the quota reform movement to another direction, BNP alleged today.
“Dhaka University campus is now under absolute control of the terrorists of Chhatra League. Except the Chhatra League men, no one has guts to carry out the attack. It’s a pre-planned and mysterious attack,” BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Rizvi Ahmed said.
Addressing a press conference at the party’s Nayapaltan central office in Dhaka, the BNP leader said, “The government has let loose its agents to carry out the attack intending to take the quota reform movement to another direction.”
A section of people wearing masks carried out vandalism at the DU VC residence early Sunday when the quota reform movement on the campus and Shahbagh intersection was on.
