Hindustan Surkhiyan Desk:Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad today hinted that some top leaders of BNP would join his party ahead of the 11th parliamentary election.

“Some top-ranking famous leaders of BNP are going to join my party,” Ershad also the special envoy to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, said this while talking to reporters at Rangpur Circuit House.

Responding to a query about the names of the aspirants, Ershad said it is not an appropriate time to disclose the names, reports our Dinajpur correspondent.

“I must accept them in my party. Even, they will be given nomination if they are good leaders and capable candidates,” Ershad said responding to a questioner.

About BNP’s participation in the next general election, the JP chief said no one will be able to thwart the election even though BNP does not join it.

“The next general election will be held in right time and I will participate in it giving candidates at all parliamentary constituencies,” he said adding that the BNP’s threat to thwart the election will go in vain.
