A writ petition has been filed with the High Court seeking Tk 50 lakh compensation for the families of each of the Narayanganj mosque blast victims.
Advocate Taimur Alam Khandaker filed the writ petition on Sunday.
After presenting the report on the accident to the court, the court asked him to file a written application seeking compensation of Tk50 lakh for each family who killed and injured. Following the court order, he filed a writ petition.
At least 24 people have been killed in an air-conditioned blast at Baitus Salat Jame mosque in Narayanganj on Friday night.❐
