Hindustan Surkhiyan Desk: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will unveil her government’s firm stance against corruption, terrorism and drugs at a rally in Dhaka tomorrow, Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said today.
“Our prime minister will reiterate her government’s zero tolerance policy against indulgence in corruption, terrorism and drugs. She will also call upon her party’s rank and file to stay away from these in the rally,” Quader, also road transport and bridges minister, said.
While talking to reporters at the party president’s Dhanmondi office in Dhaka, Quader said, “Our prime minister will come up with an important message, warning her party men to refrain from abusing power”.

Hasina, also president of the AL, will also reveal her government’s future development plan at the rally, Quader said.
The existence of the Jatiya Oikyafront will no longer sustain due to the lacking of political ideology and principle among the alliance partners, he further said.
“Since inception of the Oikyafront, it seems to me that the alliance will not be sustainable,” he said adding that a rift has already appeared in BNP while Oikyafront is on the verge of the same consequence.
“The unity of a communal and non-communal force would never be sustainable,” he said.
The Oikyafront yesterday held its steering committee meeting at its key leader Dr Kamal Hossain’s Motijheel chamber with absence of BNP representatives.
BNP standing committee members Abdul Moyeen Khan and Gayeshwar Chandra Roy were supposed to attend the meeting but they were absent.
